In his past life as a systems administrator, he administered Linux, Windows, and OS X systems in infrastructure ranging from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies. His roles at Puppet (including Senior Principal Integration Engineer) allowed him to unleash his automation-driven creativity, which he's carried through a career spanning IT security, infrastructure engineering, containerization, and more
