Diego Lapiduz served as Senior Director of Product Security at Perforce Puppet, where he led initiatives to strengthen product security, scale cloud platforms, and empower engineering teams through modern DevOps practices. At Puppet, he guided the company’s Kubernetes adoption strategy, ensuring teams had the training, tools, and confidence to deliver secure and reliable infrastructure at scale. He also contributed to thought leadership on critical security challenges, including Log4j vulnerabilities, helping customers navigate risks and protect their environments.
With over 20 years of experience in cloud engineering, cybersecurity, and platform architecture, Diego has held influential leadership roles at Capital One and Microsoft and founded cloud.gov at the U.S. General Services Administration. His career reflects a deep commitment to building secure, scalable systems that bridge the needs of business and technology. He now serves as CTO for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
