Gary Larizza served as Professional Services Engineer at Perforce Puppet, where he helped some of the world’s largest organizations — including Nike, Starbucks, Apple, Costco, Shutterstock, American Airlines, State Farm, and Exxon — succeed with infrastructure automation at scale. He worked with customers to design workflows, conduct training, and guide deployments that turned complex IT challenges into repeatable, reliable processes. 

Gary frequently shared best practices through talks, trainings, and online forums, making concepts like Hiera data management more approachable for practitioners of all levels. Today, Gary continues his work in DevOps consulting, helping enterprises adopt modern automation practices and cloud platforms as a Principal Consultant at Open Infrastructure Services.
