Melissa Palmer served as Area Vice President of Public Sector at Perforce Puppet, where she helped government agencies modernize IT operations through automation, secure infrastructure management, and cloud-scale delivery. During her tenure, Melissa spearheaded the strategic partnership with Carahsoft, significantly expanding Puppet Enterprise’s availability on key government purchasing vehicles.  

Before joining Puppet, Melissa held senior leadership roles at Absolute Software, Red Hat, VMware, Intel Security, and LookingGlass Cyber Solutions. Her career has been defined by driving innovation in government cloud adoption and advancing zero-trust security practices across federal agencies. 

Melissa also authored and contributed to thought leadership on DevOps in government environments and agile IT adoption, offering practical insights to help agencies embrace infrastructure as code while meeting critical compliance needs.
